The Heads of the Committee on Economy, Trade, and Industry, under the Saudi-Omani Coordination Council, held their seventh meeting today, chaired by Rakan W. Tarabzoni, Deputy Minister for International Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Economy and Planning, on the Saudi side, and Mr. Ghalib bin Said Al Maamari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Commerce and Industry, on the Omani side. The meeting was attended by representatives of the government entities serving as committee members, during which the initiatives progress was reviewed, along with ways to strengthen cooperation to advance economic integration between the two countries.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the two sides signed the executive program to activate the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Economy and Planning and the Ministry of Economy in the Sultanate of Oman in the field of economy and planning.
